Colorado Winery Row. Kinda has a nice ring to it. But this isn’t just a marketing cliché, it’s actually a serious concentration of Colorado wine only a few weeks from fruition in northwest Denver.

While the official marketing name hasn’t been set (it could wind up Denver Winery Row or something similar), the concept is simple: Four wineries working together to brand one little area in Denver as a locapour hotbed.

Colorado winery rowIt’ll be at the corner of 46th and Pecos, just off of Interstate 70.

UPDATE: Winery row is open

Paul Bonacquisti’s namesake winery and tasting room have been in the modern industrial complex since 2005. Verso Cellars offers a tasting room two doors down. In between is a space being renovated as we speak to serve as the tasting room for Western Slope vineyards Garfield Estates and Cottonwood Cellars.

This new addition could be finished by month's end, offering Colorado winos a chance to taste urban, mountain and Western Slope wineries/vineyards in one place.

Talk about an intense tasting experience. When it opens, just be sure to pick a designated driver before tasting the full offerings of all four. Just saying.

More details to come soon.

Great to see more happening online with the Colorado wineries! I can't wait to see how the new tasting rooms are received.

Just found your site - excellent resource. I'm in the Denver area (Littleton) about once a quarter, so hopefully this yet-to-be-officially-named tasting room will be open by my next trip, week of March 15th.
Much like wines here in Virginia, Colorado wines are underrated and rarely receive national recognition deserved. I still have two bottles of '04 Creekside Cellars Cab Franc in my collection that I picked up at their tasting room in Evergreen - an excellent example of Cab Franc.

Cheer!
